First off, yes, men spending time with their kids and paying child support is very strange.
That's about as well as the reporter does FOR THIS ENTIRE PIECE.
First off should've been - WHERE DO THESE FIGURES COME FROM!?!? Because HOW THE HELL DOES ONE KID COST $15,000/YEAR!?!?!?!? THEY DON'T! These figures are ABSURD!
She should've said, WAIT, HOW MUCH DO YOU PAY!?!?!?! Isn't that WAY too high!?!?!? When the average person I talk to tells me they expect I pay "four or five hundred a month" in child support, only to look stunned and slack-jawed when I tell them to triple that number!
Furthermore, men pay these OUTRAGEOUS amounts and then must SPLIT ALL CHILD-RELATED EXPENSES BASED ON THIS "GUIDELINE."
THEN WHAT IS THE "CHILD SUPPORT" MONEY FOR!?!?!?!I'm sure the lack of rational questions had nothing to do with the fact the report was a woman.....

Further, how do men who practically have JOINT PHYSICAL CUSTODY, have to pay well over $1,000/month in child support!?!?!? They are LITERALLY EQUAL PARENTS, but have to pay nearly 50% of their income to their ex? WHY? If you have the kids nearly half the time, MOM CAN WORK, ESPECIALLY AS MANY MOMS THESE DAYS HAVE A COLLEGE DEGREE OR MASTER'S DEGREE!
Further, if you can have all of a man's money without being married to him, WHAT THE FUCK IS THE POINT OF BEING MARRIED!?!?!?!?
LADIES, HAVE A KID AND THEN DITCH THE GUY! YOU CAN GET ALL THE MONEY A MARRIED WOMAN GETS, MINUS THE DUTIES OF A WIFE, PLUS FREE BABY-SITTING! WOO HOO!
The "lawyer" who sits on the "task force" has the most fake, crocodile smile I've ever seen in my life. This is a story on men being forced to live at home because THEY CAN'T EVEN RENT AN SHITTY APARTMENT, AND this lawyer is sitting there smiling with the interviewer about how "fair" the guideline is!?!?! I love how she states "if mom makes 500 a week and dad makes 500 a week, then dad has to pay "some money" to mom." HE HAS TO PAY OVER 40% OF HIS INCOME. THAT AIN'T SOME, BITCH. THATS MOST OF IT! Further she thinks things are fair because we have both female and male judges!?!?!? WHAT!?!?!? What does the proportion of female and male judges have to do with the TENS OF THOUSANDS men pay every year for as few as one child!?!?!
This reporter must be the worst reporter ever born. The guidelines are structured so that even if you double or triple the custodial parent's income (to WELL into the six figure range), dad's 'child support' BARELY BUDGES. That is, he pays an arm and a leg practically REGARDLESS of what his ex does or does not make. So that is, she has ALL THE PERSONAL FREEDOM AND CHOICE, while he HAS NONE.
THIS IS THE ESSENCE OF BIGOTRY AND DISCRIMINATION.
Further, DOESN'T IT SEEM STRANGE, that one woman with two kids doesn't have much money (um, let me guess; she own's her home ONLY WORKING PART-TIME; further they state she receives ONE THOUSAND dollars per month). If the working father made but $850/week, GROSS INCOME - THAT IS BEFORE TAXES, he pays $1,000/month. After paying the grand, THEN HE PAYS TAXES ON $850/WEEK INCOME. And I love how the ONE MOM the reporter finds has two kids, ONE WITH SPECIAL NEEDS. I bet my life she uses her ex's income to pay her mortgage and takes her own money and buys everything else with it. Imagine, dear reader, ITS A LITTLE HARD TO BE A STAY AT HOME MOM WHO BARELY WORKS AND HAVE A FREE HOUSE.

You sell the house, split the proceeds and both buy a small condo. The kids are split, time wise, or else the day-care bill is split and both parents work full-time, period. IF MOM WANTS TO STAY AT HOME, THAT IS HER PROBLEM. STAYING AT HOME IS FOR RICH WOMEN OR WOMEN WHO ARE MARRIED and thus enjoy two incomes - one of which is their own.
